Goldwork Bolero

The goldwork bolero was a specialist study focusing on the exploration of goldwork embroidery. In this study, I taught myself how to do goldwork embroidery, specifically couching and cutwork, and apply it to costume. I designed the bolero as well as the embroidery designs. The embroidery took three weeks of constant stitching.
